Build a Well-Stocked Kitchen With These Tips

Published 3 months ago • 1 min read

Hello Reader,

Do you ever have those days when you forgot to plan for dinner and don't know what to make?

I have! And it can be stressful. I wanted to share some suggestions for keeping your kitchen filled with staples so you can whip up dinner any time. Having a well-stocked pantry can make all the difference!

Here is one of my favorite quick and easy pantry meals for lentil soup:

A drizzle of olive oil

3 to 4 fresh or frozen carrots, chopped

1 to 2 stalks celery, chopped

1 small onion diced

1/2 cup dry lentils

4 cups vegetable broth (or your favorite broth)

14-ounce can of diced tomatoes

Sauté the vegetables in oil over medium-high heat for a few minutes. Then, reduce the heat to medium-low, pour in the broth, and let it simmer for 20 minutes. Next, add the lentils and tomatoes and let them all simmer for another 15 to 20 minutes until they are soft and fully cooked.

If you are ready to stock your pantry, here's a free checklist to get you started.

Happy Cooking!
